Trailhead begins at the end of Broadway Road in Williamsburg
The Williamsburg to Batavia Hike/Bike Trail is a collaborative effort between several local agencies. The trail begins at the end of Old Broadway Road. The entire trail, when completed will be over 13 miles in length and connect the villages of Batavia and Williamsburg. The mixed use trail will share roadways with vehicles for a portion, and also utilize roadways that were abandoned during the construction of East Fork State Park.
The existing trail begins at the end of Old Broadway Road in Williamsburg then follows Williamsburg-Bantam Road as it makes its way through the East Fork Wildlife Area. After crossing Kain Run creek via a bridge, the trail winds its way to a scenic overlook along the edge of William Harsha Lake. From there, the trail makes its way up to the campground area, and connects with the main campground road in East Fork State Park. Once in the campground, the trail follows the main park road for a stretch, and eventually connects to Zagar Road in Batavia Township.
The newest section of the trail opened in October 2015. Currently, the total trail length is 6 miles.
