School Programs

We know how much you value your students’ education and how hard you work to ensure they receive the best learning experiences during their time in school. The Clermont County Park District offers both field-trip opportunities in any of our parks or nature preserves and in-school programs where our naturalists offer hands-on, experiential learning at your facility. Our programs supplement lesson plans or to introduce new science topics. If we don’t already offer a program on a natural history topic you teach, we will customize programs to enhance your curriculum. All Clermont County schools – from kindergarten through high school – may book these programs.

We are currently overhauling our program offerings so please email Robin if you have a specific program topic in mind. Check back for a new list of program offerings in 2022!

In-park programs: Free
The Clermont County Park District is the perfect setting to enhance your students’ learning experience. Each of our in-park programs is designed to provide hands-on learning through observations, games, activities and field studies.

Outreach/in-classroom programs: $20 per program
The Clermont County Park District’s Outreach Program is the next best thing to an in-park experience. Let our naturalists bring the outdoors to you.

Public Homeschool Programs

All of our public homeschool programs are free unless otherwise noted. Advanced registration is required as registration is limited and programs have minimum attendance requirements. To make a reservation, please call the naturalist office at 513-760-8393 or email Robin. If you are interesting in seeing a new program developed, email us to let us know!

Programs will be held rain or shine. We will be outdoors for the majority of our programs so please, dress for the weather! In the event of severe weather, we will email at least 2 hours prior if the program is cancelled. If you need to cancel or change your registration, please let me know as soon as you can so that we can open up your spaces to others and continue to provide free homeschool programming. Check our public program calendar for upcoming homeschool programs
