Seeking applicants to serve on the Clermont County Park Board

Clermont County Probate Court Judge James Shriver seeks applicants willing to serve on the Clermont County Park Board. The appointment will be for an unexpired term ending December 31, 2026

The Clermont County Park District operates six parks, three nature preserves, and eight green spaces encompassing nearly 1,000 acres throughout the County, including the Williamsburg to Batavia Hike Bike Trail. Our Mission Statement is to acquire, plan, develop, program, and maintain park property in the county and secure the preservation of open space and places of scenic or historic value.

Individuals interested in serving on the board must submit a cover letter expressing their interest in the seat along with the notarized application.  The applicant must agree to a background check.  You can download the application here. Please bring your cover letter and application to the Probate Court, 2379 Clermont Center Drive, Batavia, OH 45103, before 4:00 p.m. May 1, 2026.  Any Application received after 4:00 p.m. will be rejected and not accepted.
