One of Clermont County Park District’s largest and most popular destinations, Sycamore Park offers something for everyone—from family outings and recreation to peaceful walks along the river.
The park features four picnic shelters, paved walking trails, an accessible playground, tennis and pickleball courts, updated restrooms, and access to the East Fork of the Little Miami River. Families can enjoy a walk together along the paved riverside storybook trail, while the adjoining Wilson Nature Preserve offers a quieter escape into nature with wooded trails and opportunities to explore the area’s natural landscape.
With its combination of open space, recreational amenities, shelters, and convenient facilities, Sycamore Park is also well suited for community gatherings and larger public events, including festivals, fairs, and small expos.

Kayak Launch
Kayak Launch & River Access
Explore the East Fork of the Little Miami River from Sycamore Park’s kayak launch. With convenient parking and easy, level access to the water, the launch provides a welcoming starting point for kayaking, paddling, and enjoying the river.
The improved riverfront area also features a sun deck overlooking the water, offering visitors a scenic place to relax, enjoy lunch, or simply take in the peaceful surroundings.
Whether you're heading out on the water or spending a quiet afternoon along the riverbank, Sycamore Park makes it easy to experience the East Fork up close.
Wilson Nature Preserve
Wilson Nature Preserve
The James L and Frances Wilson Nature Preserve is adjacent to Sycamore Park, encompassing 145 acres along the East Fork branch of the Little Miami River, including a 25-acre island in the river. Our large forests, fields, and abundant wildflowers provide habitat for a variety of wildlife. Over three miles of trails provide options for a short and peaceful riverside walk or a steeper ascent that leads to a scenic view of the East Fork River Valley.
Wilson Nature Preserve also features a suspension bridge, completed in 2025, that connects the Oak Ridge Loop Trailto a 25-acre island in the East Fork River. Visitors can hike along the mile-long Pawpaw Crossing Trail that loops along the outside of the island.
Sycamore Park Shelters
Sycamore Park offers four picnic shelters available for reservation, providing a variety of options for family gatherings, birthday parties, reunions, picnics, and other group events. Throughout the park, guests can enjoy an accessible playground, updated restrooms, paved walking paths, hiking trails, river access, tennis and pickleball courts, and fishing with a valid Ohio fishing license.
Riverview Shelter
Located on the right as you enter the park, Riverview is the shelter closest to the restrooms. Its larger seating capacity makes it a great choice for bigger gatherings.

Bluebell Shelter
Bluebell is the last shelter on the right as you enter the park and is conveniently located near the tennis and pickleball courts.

Red Oak Shelter
Red Oak is the second shelter on the left as you enter Sycamore Park and offers a comfortable setting for smaller gatherings.

Sycamore Shelter

William A. "Bill" Stearns Sundeck
Completed in fall 2025, the Sundeck at Sycamore Park offers an ideal spot to sit, relax, and watch the river. The sundeck is dedicated to founding Clermont County Park Board member Bill Stearns, a devoted public servant whose life reflected compassion, leadership, and generosity.
