Cemetery Ecology

Unearth the complicated ecology of cemeteries and how our burial grounds can provide refuge for wildlife and the bereaved. You will learn about the relationship between cemeteries, wildlife, and people, through a naturalist presentation. Then, join us for a guided walk through the Hartman family cemetery to learn more about its history and community.  

Please note: This talk will feature discussion about death, dying, and human remains. The Hartman cemetery is a family resting place, and the people buried there include young children. These topics can be upsetting and distressing, so please take care when deciding if you would like to attend.
