Crawdad Creek Crawl

Learn surprising new facts about your favorite freshwater crustaceans, and then hike along the creek to find them! We will learn where to find crayfish, how to hold them, and how they contribute to their freshwater ecosystems. This program is fun for all ages, no pre-registration is required. We will meet at the shelter. 

We will be hiking a less-maintained trail to access the creek, and we will spend some time walking in shallow water and over rocks. Shoes are required while walking in the creek. Please wear sturdy shoes that can get wet and muddy. Closed-toed shoes are recommended. Avoid crocs, rubber boots, and flip-flops. Since we will be looking for wildlife, pets cannot attend this program.
