New Sycamore Park Sundeck

If you have been to Sycamore Park recently, you might be wondering what the construction zone is all about near the access to the East Fork River. After a very rainy spring and beginning of summer, and what felt like excessively high-water levels in the river, crews were able to begin the construction on our brand new wheelchair-accessible sundeck that will look out over the East Fork of the Little Miami. The sundeck has a few seating areas consisting of picnic tables, Adirondack chairs, and a couple benches to relax on while enjoying the views. On the front side of the sundeck is a concrete stairway leading down to the water’s edge with a section of oversized concrete steps alongside the stairway for seating closer to the river, if that’s more your style.
