Pattison Park Lakeside

Celebrate our nighttime wildlife! We’ll kick off the evening with the Dreamweavers Storytelling Troupe from the Clermont County Public Library telling tales of creatures that roam the dark. Hang out with Naturalists while you learn about nighttime animals, explore, and hike.

All ages are welcome, but the evening’s activities are designed for families with children. Registration at https://clermontlibrary.libnet.info/event/6218451.

Visit the Miami Township Branch Library for the kickoff of their summer reading program. We will be there showing fossils from the ancient oceans that once covered this area! Learn what strange animals lived in this ancient ocean and take home a fossil for yourself (while supplies last.) The Cincinnati Museum Center will be showing visitors how to dig up dinosaurs!

Nature Play Days (spring schedule)
Second and Forth Fridays from 1 to 3 pm
Sycamore Park

Come by anytime between 1 and 3 pm for open-ended creative play in the Park. At Nature Play Days, we offer unstructured activities to help kids make friends, play, explore, and learn about the world together, like many of their parents and grandparents did as kids. It’s intended to encourage meaningful experiences in nature, which is not just fun, it’s great for health and learning!

Our nature play group meets on the second and third Fridays in March, April, and May at Sycamore Park so keep coming back for more. It’s ideal for homeschool and preschool ages 3 – 14 but everyone is welcome. If you have any specific interests, email naturalist Robin at rgreen@clermontcountyohio.gov and we’ll try to incorporate your topics.
