Cooking with Cicadas

Step into the world of entomophagy-the practice of eating insects at this cicada tasting event! We’ll take a short nature hike followed by a culinary adventure. You will have the chance to sample pre-cooked cicadas, experimenting with different seasoning and toppings to enhance their flavor. Discover why insects have been consumed in cultures around the world and learn about their nutritional value as a sustainable food source.

Come with an open mind and a curious palate and you just might leave with a new favorite snack!
