Concoct your own medicinal jewelweed salve, and learn about the folk medicine and ecology of this amazing plant! Registrants will learn how to identify, harvest, and process jewelweed to be used as a remedy for poison-ivy and insect bites. Be prepared for a muddy hike and wear long pants! This plant loves shaded moist ground and often shares its space with stinging nettle and poison ivy. Registration required, intended for ages 12+
