Clermont County Parks provide beautiful outdoor spaces where the community can gather, celebrate, and connect. From community festivals and races to weddings, reunions, and company gatherings, our parks offer a variety of settings for both public and private events.

Public & Special Events

Planning an event that will be open to the public? Certain events require approval through the Clermont County Park District’s Special Event Application process.

This may include festivals, car shows, races, sporting events, concerts, community gatherings, club events, organized recreational activities, fundraisers, and other events intended to attract or serve a public audience.

Events involving vendors, food sales, admission or participation fees, alcohol, amplified sound, or other special activities may require additional review or approval.

We encourage organizers to contact the Park District early in the planning process so we can help determine requirements, discuss park suitability, and answer questions before an application is submitted.

How Do I Plan a Public Event?

• Review the Special Event Policy Guide and Fee Structure Form.  Keep a copy for future reference.
• Contact the Park District at parkdistrict@clermontcountyohio.gov for questions and to find an available dates for your event.
• Once you are ready to apply, go to our special event request form and select the Special Event Request form. This must be received a minimum of sixty (60) days in advance of event date.
• The final contract, with mutually agreed-upon guidelines will be signed by both a park staff member and event organizer. Additionally, a Certificate of Liability Insurance with a minimum of $1,000,000  comprehensive general liability is required. 
• Payment can be made by calling or visiting the Clermont County Park administrative offices by check, money order or card. Only after payment is made and insurance submitted is the event considered to be confirmed.
